Advanced Materials Center Korea grand opening ceremony
In May 2014, Air Liquide Korea held a Grand Opening Ceremony at the new Advanced Materials Center Korea (AMCK) facility located in Hwasung, Korea. AMCK is a state-of-the-art facility designed to produce and purify advanced materials used in semiconductor manufacturing processes. Groundbreaking took place in March 2013, and the project was completed safely after more than 50,000 construction hours without a recordable or lost time accident.
This investment demonstrates Air Liquide’s continuing focus on innovation, and our confidence in the growth of the semiconductor markets in Asia Pacific, especially in South Korea. AMCK will become an important production center that successfully meets the increasing technical and quality demands of our key customers while contributing to the local economy.
